HOW CAN A PERSON BE MADE RIGHT WITH GOD?

The Romans Road

The book of Romans in the Bible was written to help early believers and Jewish people understand how to be made right with God and grow in a relationship with Him.  The verses below are in an order to help us understand what separates us from God and how to be reunited with Him. People have named this group of verses the "Romans Road".  We are all sinners separated from God by our sin. God came to this earth to show us His Love and live without sinning so that He could overcome sin and pay the price of sin, so that those who believe in Him may receive forgiveness and a right standing with God.  If you are wondering how to receive salvation from God, read the verses below and in your heart confess your sin to God believing that His sacrificial death on the cross paid the price for your sin.  He will hear your heartfelt prayer and begin His transforming work in your life.  After you ask for forgiveness from Jesus Christ (in the process of receiving forgiveness you should repent/turn from your sin... true belief produces remorse the sins we've committed and a desire to turn from the sin that once separated you from God) there are a few important things you should do to help you grow in your relationship with Him: get baptized, join a Bible teaching church fellowship, begin reading the word of God, and talk to Him daily in prayer.  These things will help you know God and will help your faith in Him grow, but do not affect your salvation.  Salvation is a free gift from God that you receive by grace from believing, not by any works you may do.  We invite you to join us at Life Church Gulf Breeze if you live in the Gulf Breeze area.  If you have any questions about the decision you have made or are considering making please email pastor Dale by clicking the link below.
